The Xerafy XS Dot is the world's smallest rugged UHF RFID tag, designed for metal asset tracking and offering exceptional reliability and durability. As a market leader for small rugged metal RFID tags, the XS Dot provides a highly reliable tagging solution with its unique design.
This high-temperature UHF RAIN RFID tag offers a read range of up to 1,50 meters with fixed readers and up to 1 meter with handheld readers. It can withstand operational temperatures from -40°C to +85°C, survival temperatures up to 150°C for 168 hours, and peak temperatures of 200°C. The XS Dot is IP68 rated, making it waterproof and highly resistant to shock and vibration.
Key features include EPC global Class 1 Gen 2 protocol, frequency options of 902-928 MHz (US) and 865-868 MHz (EU), Alien Higgs 9 chip, 96 bits EPC, 48 bits TID, and 688 bits user memory. The tag's linear polarization and radiation pattern on metal ensure optimal performance. Its superior performance-to-size ratio, enabled by patented Xerafy ceramic technology, ensures the tag delivers performance well beyond market standards in metal and harsh environments.
The tag is made from durable ceramic material, measuring ø 6 x 2,50 mm and weighing just 0.34 g. It is ideal for applications such as hand tools and equipment, MRO tool control and weapon management.
