The Xerafy PICO In is a robust UHF RFID tag designed for small asset management, offering exceptional reliability and durability. Embeddable in metal, the PICO In provides a highly reliable rugged RFID tagging solution with its unique design.
This high-temperature UHF RAIN RFID tag offers a read range of up to 2 meters with fixed readers and up to 1.40 meters with handheld readers. It can withstand operational temperatures from -40°C to +85°C, survival temperatures up to 150°C for 168 hours, and peak temperatures of 220°C. The PICO In is IP68 rated, making it waterproof and highly resistant to shock and vibration.
Key features include EPC global Class 1 Gen 2 protocol, frequency options of 902-928 MHz (US) and 865-868 MHz (EU), Alien Higgs 9 chip, 96 bits EPC, 48 bits TID, and 688 bits user memory. The tag's linear polarization and radiation pattern in metal ensure optimal performance. Its breakthrough read distance to size ratio makes it ideally suited for OEM manufacturers looking to bring native RFID capabilities to their equipment for aviation, oil and gas, energy and defense sectors.
