At our office

At Cisper, we're dedicated to contributing to a sustainable future. In June 2023, we moved to a new eco-friendly office. The office is equipped with 30 solar panels and the building itself is designed to be energy-efficient.

We have switched to a paperless working environment. By reducing paper usage, we not only save trees but also enhance operational efficiency and data security.

For our office cleaning, we now only work with cleaning agents who exclusively use biological and eco-friendly products. This ensures a healthier working environment and reduces the release of harmful chemicals into the ecosystem.

Donations

We express our care for others and the environment by donating to several causes each year and participating in collaborative inititatives. In 2023, we supported the following organizations:

Stichting Stad en Natuur Almere: As a Bever sponsor for Stichting Stad en Natuur Almere, we supported educational and nature-based experiences, making nature accessible to all residents. We also actively contributed to the planting of trees and herbs in the "zintuigen bos" (sensory forest), promoting environmental sustainability and community engagement.

Noodhulp Turkije en Syrië: We made a donation to Noodhulp Turkije en Syrië to provide emergency aid in response to crises in Turkey and Syria, supporting humanitarian relief efforts.

Packaging

We care for the environment by using packaging materials wisely. 

Reuse and recycle: We want to use packaging materials as effeciently as possible. That's why we focus on reusing cardboard packaging in our warehouse. All incoming paper-based packaging materials are reused for our own shipments whenever possible.

Filling materials: Instead of plastic fillers, we use paper-based padding. This choice makes the packaging recyclable and helps reduce plastic waste.

Optimized box sizes: Last but not least, we use five different box sizes to reduce empty space in each package.

A sustainable supply chain

RFID technology can significantly contribute to a more sustainable supply chain in various ways. Cisper offers a growing range of eco-friendly RFID labels like the Tageos EOS Zero tags and inlays, plastic-free and based on FSC® certified paper. These products provide a low-carbon footprint
alternative to traditional RFID labels and inlays.
